our history

Here is a bit of our personal history @CCTxk!


  • Pastor Craig and Tonya's first visit to Texarkana from Fort Lauderdale to confirm God's calling for them to move here.
  • 2004

  • On July 9th, Pastor Craig and his family drove into Texarkana after leaving Fort Lauderdale five days earlier.
  • On August 12th, they moved into their home.
  • And, on September 2nd, they opened up their first Bible study at their house on a Thursday evening.
  • Four weeks later, they started having Sunday morning studies.
  • 2005

  • The CCTxk home Bible study moved to another family's home in Wake Village.
  • 2006

  • Pastor Craig was ordained by the church Board and Body.
  • 2007

  • CCTxk moved into their first building on Easter Sunday - a 1,500 square foot warehouse.
  • We also sent out our first mission team to Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
  • CCTxk was officially affiliated with Calvary Chapel.
  • 2010

  • We started our annual mission trips to the Yucatan, Mexico, working with Calvary Chapel Merida.
  • 2012

  • CCTxk rented a church building in Nash, which is our current location.
